Okay, I've selected a place that is just a block away from the theater so we can hop on over very easily at 7:30pm. Plan on getting there by 6pm so you can order the Happy Hour food specials. I've organized these before, and if you wait until 6:29pm to order, you probably won't get your food until 7:30pm (because everyone else will have ordered before you and overrun the kitchen)
This is your schedule for this Friday:
5:30-6pm - Look for parking in lower Queen Anne
6-7:30pm - Jabu's Pub, 174 Roy St, Seattle, WA (HH, jabuspub.com)
7:30pm-10pm - McCaw Hall, 321 Mercer Street, Seattle
Traffic will be bad, and parking will be hard to find, so plan on coming early! Also don't park in the neighborhood behind the pub, because you'll get a ticket. There are parking garages, but if you want free parking, you'll need to find it closer to Peso's.
You want to be at McCaw Hall by 7:30pm so you have time to visit all the ski/travel related booths and enter the free drawings. Seriously, don't try to cut the show close, this show makes for a busy time down on lower QA.
Happy Hour food goes until 6:30pm ($5 Mini Corn Dog Bites, 3 Chipotle Beef/Black Bean Tacos, Cheese Quesadilla, Hot Wings, BBQ Wings, Hummus and Pita Bread). They are going to extend happy hour drink specials until 7:30pm for us. Drafts $2.50-$3.50, Wells $3, Wine $4
See you on Friday at 6pm. If you can't make it early to pick-up your tickets, let me know and we'll make alternative arrangements. This is not the preferred method, because I have 79 tickets to distribute.

*The day after I placed my order, two ski clubs bought out most of the remaining seats. One got 40 seats and the other got 60 seats, so I was fortunate to get the remaining scraps in the Orchestra close to the original group. The Orchestra group tickets are now sold out so I won't be making any more group purchases. However Sturtevant is selling tickets in the Orchestra behind our section, so I may be able to get seats close to our group if enough people pay to get on the wait list, early enough. No guarantees on sitting next to us for late comers though.
