As a writer of books it's a big bet when a new edition gets published. It's months and years of work, and since I make my living from book sales and speaking engagements, how much PR a new book gets (or doesn't) determines how the next years will go.
To spread the word about the new edition of The Myths of Innovation (now in handy paperback size with 4 new chapters) O'Reilly Media and I have named Wed October 13th Myths of Innovation day. We're hoping as many people as possible learn about the book, and buy a copy, on the 13th.
And with a few seconds next week, you can be a big help.
All you'll need to do is post about the book to facebook, your blog or twitter, sometime on Wed Oct 13th. I'll even give you a little template you can use to do it.
If you can spare that minute, just say Yes, that you'll attend. Details will follow.
And i have plenty of (virtual) beer, so its cool to invite your friends.
