WHAT.
Along with a DJ Such N Such and DJ Paul, there will be a silent auction of ocean and beach photographs to raise funds to support a SF Surfrider volunteer (Carolynn Box) on a voyage to the South Atlantic to study plastic pollution in JAN 2011. Funds will go directly to supporting her position on a 5 Gyres research voyage (cost of vessel, research and travel). San Francisco Surfrider Foundation is working to raise awareness on plastic pollution in our oceans and raise funds for plastic pollution research with the 5 Gyres Institute.
