Colin Rodgers here!
I'm returning to Myrtle Beach just for the Halloween season, and so I thought, "what better way to reconnect with all my friends in one fell swoop, than to throw one of my patented bonfires?" But this is no ordinary bonfire... No, my comrades- this is THE BONFIRE HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR!
The night shall begin with the ancient commencement ceremony of burning a scarecrow at the stake, and throughout the night, feature color-changing flames, spooky decorations and music, food for many, and end triumphantly with a fireworks spectacular!
Bring your friends or family, all are welcome to join at the bewitching hour. But be warned, this is a costumed event, and one lucky winner will receive a Halloween prize for the most impressive outfit at the stroke of midnight- So let's get festive!
This Bonfire doubles as a potluck- If we all pitch in to bring some food, no lost souls will go hungry! (Preferably bring something you can roast over an open fire.) I'll be bringing corn on the cob. Don't forget your skewers! And if anyone has firewood, we can always use some more. All spirits are welcome (both ghostly and alchoholic) and standard BYOB protocol is in order.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
If you're coming from 501, head towards Myrtle Beach.
Going north on Hwy 17 bypass, turn left onto 29th ave N (when you see Planet Hollywood). From 29th ave N, make another left onto Old Bryan Dr. Follow this road to the end, and turn left onto Brookgreen Dr. From Brookgreen, make another left onto Larkhill Dr. Follow Larkhill to the end, and turn right onto Nightingale. Follow this road till it ends at the corner of Nightingale & Wynfield Drive. At the corner, there is an open circle in the road- park here. Walk across the empty field towards the waterway, the fire circle will be on your left, near the trees.
See you soon... And don't forget to bring your death certificate.
Eternally yours,
Colin A. Rodgers, esq.
