To celebrate the uber cool adidas Originals ‘Star Wars’ collection, the ‘Star Wars DJ Battle’ event will draw on a distinctive, creative and highly entertaining flavour, with ten of the cities most respected and active DJ’s/Performers.

Mr Mr (Capt) – AKA Luke Skywalker
Radio 1’s one weekend henchman and audio tonic head honcho, ranked No 5 in the DJ Mag UAE Top 50 poll and voted Best Local DJ at the Timeout Nightlife Awards 2010.
Charl Chaka – AKA Yoda
South African born, Dubai based jacking House supremo, owner of Infusion Magazine and co host of Radio 1’s Rhythm Factory, No 4 in the DJ Mag UAE Top 50 poll.
Raxon - AKA Obi-Wan Kenobi
Egyptian born, Abu Dhabi based Raxon has become the leading local light in global electronic music releases, audio tonic LIVE resident and voted No 7 in the DJ Mag Top 100 poll.
Da:Funct - AKA Han Solo
The mashup maestro, a name synonymous with party starting beats and bass lines, who’s warmed up for the likes of Fatboy Slim, Tom Middleton, The Subways, and Sammy Jo from The Scissor Sisters.
MC Swerte - AKA Lando Calrissian
The official MC for Da:Funct (Soundsystem), Swerte is better known as the leading voice in Dubai based Hip Hop group ‘The Receipe’.

Dany Neville (Capt) - AKA Darth Vader
The ambassador of Hip Hop, Radio 1’s longest standing figure with over 10 years on the UAE’s air waves – a true crowd pleaser.
Rone Jaxx – AKA Jabba The Hut
Another of Dubai’s longest standing urban figures, Radio 1’s Urban Education front man and the voice behind Jaxxma – best known for his smooth selection of old skool hip hop!
Emtee – AKA Jawas
Mr Neville’s Radio 1 sidekick, ‘UK funky’ UAE pioneer, MuZik resident (at The Rooftop) and fast emerging urban music producer.
David Craig – AKA Boba Fett
Dubai’s ‘newest’ urban DJ, and one with a loyal following! Having played across the globe, and for some of the biggest names (Sean Paul, Pharell, Beyonce and Missy afterparties!)
MC Olly Wood – AKA Emperor Palpatine
He’s MC’d for some of the biggest names in Drum & Bass, a natural freestyler with a distinctive London twang!
