Halloween means different things to different people. For some it is an exciting reason to make a new photo album in Facebook that they may regret later and for others it is a reason to go know on the door of that place you used to live so you can look inside and see what they did with the place. Whatever it means to you I think we can all agree that it is fun...and you can't spell fun without friends (well you could but no one would see you do it so why bother) so why not rustle up some hombres (assuming you will dress as a cowboy) and spend a night with the FreeLancers Union and FreshBooks meeting some new folks and showing off your costume that will be most talked about on Facebook the next day.
It’s all treat and no trick when you can have some fun and get valuable networking done in one night. Costumes are optional but will go a long way to being memorable and a $100 prize goes to the person who wears the best costume, and runners-up get free FreshBooks accounts. No time to sew? Just bring your business cards—we’ll have a little something at the door to help you masquerade.
Price: $10 (First $500 of drinks are on us; cash bar thereafter)
*Don’t be surprised when you register through our The Freelancers Union PAC contribution form! Contributions are redeemable for big karma points but not tax-deductible: all proceeds go to Freelancers Union Political Action Committee (PAC) to help us promote freelancer issues.
