This one-of-a-kind event features live-comedy and found video, showcasing footage that was found at garage sales, thrift stores, warehouses, and dumpsters throughout the US and Canada. Found Footage Festival hosts, Nick and Joe have taken their impressive collection of odd and hilarious, often surprising, found treasure and distilled it into 90 minutes of just the most sublime spectacles, intriguing characters, and beguiling, if not insightful, looks into those who lived during the golden days of the VHS dynasty. Their comedy credits include The Onion and Late Show With David Letterman, The Colbert Report and Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Join us, on November 7, when the world touring 48th Ann Arbor Film Festival visits UICA for a one-day presentation. The tour offers several distinct programs of recent independent and experimental short films from the 48th Ann Arbor Film Festival across all genres: experimental, documentary, animation, narrative and hybrids. The AAFF is a pioneer of the traveling tour concept, having launched tour shows in Paris, Los Angeles & Berkeley in 1964. Since that time, the tour has presented hundreds of influential works, including films by Barbara Hammer, Gus Van Sant, Sally Cruikshank, Don Hertzfeldt, Bill Brown, Ross McLaren, Paul Winkler, James Duesing, Martha Colburn and Jay Rosenblatt. Following our presentation the Executive Director of the Ann Arbor Film Festival, Donald Harrison, will facilitate a Q&A with audience members.
