Stanford invades South Florida! The Cardinal is Orange Bowl bound and so are all of its fans:

This Stanford travel myth is about to be busted wide open. With the latest rumors indicating that both Harbaugh and Luck are coming back, we might be doing this all over again for many more years to come!
------------------
Update 12/5/10: If the BCS standings play out as they should, Stanford is looking at a BCS bowl game! We would no longer be at the mercy of bowl executives, but rather guaranteed a spot. It is looking increasingly likely that we will wind up in either the Orange or Fiesta Bowls.
What a ride this has been - Get ready to book your trips, Stanford fans!
(By the way, we are at 5,483 attending. Let's get it to 5678...)
------------------
Update: This event is getting some recognition. Keep it up Stanford!!

Stanford Friends: Invite every person in your Stanford network. Let's make a BCS statement that cannot be ignored.
Coach Harbaugh has instilled enthusiasm unknown to mankind in our football team. They have done their part.
Now it is our turn. Let's show the nation and BCS bowl executives what Stanford football is all about.
------------------
Dear BCS Bowls,
Stanford will sell its allotment if selected for a BCS game. If we are in contention for a BCS bowl, do not let the fear of empty stands persuade you to select another team in our stead.
Please do not take Stanford's home game attendance into account. This is not an accurate assessment of the level of support you will see from us at your bowl game.
Facts:
-Stanford alumni live across the country and cannot possibly travel for every single home game.
-Last year's Sun Bowl was the first sell-out prior to game day in its entire 76 year history.
-Stanford plays very exciting football that generates quite a bit of national interest. See: 3 8pm national ABC broadcasts in the first 9 games this season!
-Each person attending this Facebook event is pledging to attend your BCS bowl game should you select us.
Thank you for your consideration.
Go Stanford!
------------------
Dear Stanford Fans,
If you are planning to attend Stanford's (potential) BCS bowl game, please attend this Facebook event.
We are witnessing something quite historic this year, but we need your support to ensure that this team makes it to the best possible bowl.
Unfortunately, this year the Rose Bowl must select a non automatic-qualifying team if the Pac 10 sends a team to the national championship game (Oregon) and such a team is available (TCU, Boise). What this means for us, is that our shot of making a BCS bowl game is left entirely up to a particular Bowl's choosing. They will only select us if they project that they will meet their revenue goals.
Step 1:
Plan on going to our bowl game.
Step 2:
Get everyone you know that will go to the game to attend this event so that we can show the BCS that Stanford fans exist and will show up in full force.
