On Thanksgiving night, Anderson Cooper will host CNN HEROES: AN ALL-STAR TRIBUTE, at 8ET/5PT. The telecast shines a spotlight on the everyday people changing the world. All of our CNN Heroes came from your nominations at CNNHeroes.com, and this year we received more than 10,000 nominations from around the globe. The Top 10 CNN Heroes were chosen by a distinguished Blue Ribbon Panel. Each of this year’s honorees will receive $25,000 in recognition of their work. The show will culminate with the announcement of the 2010 CNN Hero of the Year, who will receive an additional $100,000.
