It's increasingly clear that a company's brand is defined less by the communications or advertising it creates, and more by the things it does; its products, service or services, and how it treats its customers.
Ironically, this increases the importance of marketing and advertising and the role of marketing and advertising agencies, but it calls for a new way of thinking about what we do and how we do it.
We will be hosting two different events relating to this topic:
1) Evening Lecture as part of the Unfinished Business Series on December 8th at 5:45pm to 7:30pm.
2) A day long workshop on December 9th at 10 am to 4 pm, that will leverage Adrian’s philosophy of creating brand value through tangible actions by working through a real-world problem. The participants will practice their skills by working with Akoha, a company that has created a community of people who undertake fun missions that make a positive difference.
Join us while Adrian will share what he's learned after four years of trying to figure it out with companies like General Mills, Google, Nordstrom, and Nestle Purina.
About our Speaker
Adrian Ho is a founding partner at Zeus Jones, a branding company built upon the belief that actions speak louder than words; that modern brands are defined by what they do not what they say.
Adrian was formerly director of strategic planning at Fallon in Minneapolis. Prior to that, Adrian worked at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, and at Anderson & Lembke both in San Francisco.
Unfinished Business Series
Unfinished Business Events are monthly lectures and workshops co-organized and designed by Torch Innovation, Normative Design, and Strategic Innovation Lab at OCAD. The lectures share perspectives on creativity, design and innovation and the accompanying workshops provide attendees with practical skills that they can use in their teams and organizations.
