Light Rail is vital to the future of our community. Waterloo Region faces incredible growth over the next 20 years, and we need to be prepared. Building more roads will only lead to more sprawl, more smog, and a lower quality of life for everyone. Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) will be over capacity less than 10 years after opening, requiring us to then build Light Rail at much greater cost. Despite how strong the case is for Light Rail, many politicians are backing away from this vital project. A vocal minority has controlled the conversation and spread misinformation.

On Sunday December 5th it's time for us to take back the conversation. This rally will send a clear message to politicians that there is strong support in our community for Light Rail. It takes only one hour of your time, but has the potential to shape Waterloo Region for the next 50 years.
