We are proud to present the first edition of Iniciador Tokyo. But wait! “Iniciador”?
1. What is “Iniciador”?
Iniciador is the biggest entrepreneurship event in Spain. Meaning “Initiator”, the motto of the organization is “from entrepreneurs to entrepreneurs”. As a entrepreneur community (organized as a NPO), our objective is to promote entrepreneurship around the world. Since 2007, more than 35 cities in Spain are curating their own Iniciador, and now is becoming international: Iniciador Silicon Valley, Iniciador London and Iniciador Tokyo had come up in 2010.
The focus of the event is tech entrepreneurs, but is open to other areas and studies. The approach is fresh, close (person-to-person), and oriented to communication and networking. The first step in every meeting is a small self-presentation of all the attendants (very useful for networking purposes); the second one, an informal lecture from an experienced entrepreneur (specially important is the question time); and finally the networking time, where you will be able to present your ideas and thoughts to the other attendants and speakers.
2. Details of Iniciador Tokyo and Registration
Date: December 16th, Thursday.
Time: Open doors at 6:30pm (18:30). Starting at 7pm (19:00). Networking from 8:30pm (20:30)

Fee: 0 yen (free)
Registration: Please note the space at Tokyo Hackerspace is really limited (more than 30 people will be problematic), so we need you to register at the following link: Registration Form (
http://bit.ly/eB22Rt). Anybody who is not registered won’t be able to enter during the informal lecture time. In that case, we recommend you to wait until networking time in order to have a beer with us (around 20:30). In the case the number of registered people goes over the venue capacity, we will keep a first-come, first-enter basis.
Broadcasting: For the people who cannot attend the event, there will be a broadcasting available through streaming (

Twitter: Viewers will be able to make questions through Twitter. Our Twitter is @iniciador_TOK and the hashtag is #iniciador_tok.
Topic: Cultural differences between Japan and the western countries (tentative).
Language: the language of the event will be English, but it will be also Japanese-friendly. So if you don’t feel confident with your English, please do not hesitate to make your self-presentation and questions in Japanese.

みなさん、こんにちは！
「イニシアドール・東京」は今回、記念すべき第一回目のイベントを開催します。「イニシアドール」とは何かご存知ですか？
1. イニシアドールとは
イニシアドールはスペインで開催されてきた起業家たちが集う最大のイベントです。「イニシアドール」の意味は、スペイン語で「何か新しいことを始める人」という意味で、この組織がモットーに掲げる「起業家から起業家へ」という精神を象徴しています。世界中で起業家精神を広めていくことを目的に、NPOとして立ち上げられた起業家コミュニティーです。2007年以来、スペインの３５以上もの都市で独自にイニシアドールのイベントが開催されるようになりました。そして現在、イニシアドールは国際舞台へと広がりつつあります。「イニシアドール・シリコンバレー」、「イニシアドール・ロンドン」、「イニシアドール東京」は2010年に誕生した新たなイニシアドールの仲間です。
イベントはテクノロジーを主としていますが、他の分野や研究など、誰にでも開かれた場となっています。新しい情報を、人と人とのつながりを通して広げていくという、コミュニケーションやネットワーク作りを重視した集まりです。イベントではまず、参加者の方は全員簡単に自己紹介を行います。そして次に、様々な起業家の方の講演があります。質疑応答の時間はとても有意義なものとなるでしょう。最後は、ネットワーク作りのための時間となり、様々な参加者の方との交流を通してご自身のアイデアや考えなどを深めたり、他の参加者の方と話し合うことで新たな刺激を受けることもできるでしょう。

Nos enorgullecemos de poder presentar la primera edición de Iniciador Tokio.
1. ¿Qué es Iniciador?
Iniciador es una comunidad de emprendedores, cuyo objetivo es promover y facilitar el emprendizaje alrededor del mundo. Para conseguirlo se organizan diferentes actividades, y entre ellas la principal es un evento cuyo objetivo es reunir emprendedores en un foro donde puedan conocerse. Hasta el momento, Iniciador se está realizando en 35 ciudades españolas, y en 2010 ha dado el salto internacional con las ediciones de Iniciador Silicon Valley, Iniciador Londres y ahora, Iniciador Tokio. Las actividades de Iniciador están dirigidas principalmente a los emprendedores tecnológicos, pero está abierto a otras áreas y personas interesadas en el emprendizaje.
El evento comienza con una breve presentación de cada uno de los asistentes y continúa con una charla o sesión de trabajo en común sobre un tema concreto relacionado con el emprendizaje dirigida por un emprendedor consolidado. Posteriormente tiene lugar una sesión de networking donde se puede charlar distendidamente sobre búsqueda de financiación, planes de negocio, promoción, etc…
2. Información sobre el evento y registro
Fecha: Jueves 16 de diciembre.
Hora: Comienzo a las siete de la tarde (19:00). Networking desde las ocho y media (20:30)

Precio: entrada gratuita.
Registro: El espacio en el Tokyo Hackerspace es muy limitado (meter a más de 30 personas puede ser problemático), así que necesitamos que todo el mundo se registre en el siguiente formulario:
http://bit.ly/eB22Rt. Sólo podrán entrar a la charla aquellos que estén registrados. En caso de que el número de personas registradas sea superior a las 30 indicadas, irán entrando los primeros que lleguen hasta completar el aforo. Al resto (gente que ha llegado más tarde y no registrados) los emplazaremos al networking que comenzará a las 20:30.
