Fiji Book Sorting

So in case you haven't heard......THE BOOKS ARE FINALLY GETTING SHIPPED TO FIJI!
It only took 2.5 years. But better late than never as they say.
Yes, yes I did start crying when I found out.

In order for us to get a price quote for the container and start fund raising we have to sort and repackage the books. ASAP....really ASAP.

This is what needs to be done.

In order for us to get a price quote for the container and start fund raising we have to sort and repackage the books. ASAP....really ASAP.

This is what needs to be done.
1. separate books that are too damaged and totally inappropriate for elementary level kids
2. put books in boxes equal to approx 22 pounds
3. label how many books are in each box

easy, right?!


Now I know you are saying "Gee wiz, Nikki. That's exactly what I want to do on a Sunday during finals week."

But look at it this way....I will buy you pizza, you can stay as long as you want, I will put on some good jams, you can hang with some awesome people while getting a study break, we are fun people so it will be a fun time.......and I can guarantee that the kids we are providing these books to would kill to be getting the education you are right now. Its an hour (or a few) of sorting books for you, but its forever changing the lives of a village of kids. There will come a time in all of our lives when we need a helping hand, so shouldn't we be that helping hand for others in their time of need?

Plain and simple, I can't do this by myself and I would greatly appreciate any and all the help I can get, even if its just 45 min of your time.
