Being from these "Southern United States" I can back this up fully and am personally blaming any and all unfortunate events over the last few years on my failure to honor this tradition.
Join us for vegetarian and pork seasoned black eyed peas, as well as cornbread, collards, and other usual suspects of southern eating. We'll be serving brunch-appropriate cocktails and ice tea, streaming the Rose Parade or some classic movies on the projector, and engaging in other silly traditions to attempt to stack our odds for 2011.
