Mobile Health 2011 at Stanford What Really Works Hosted by Stanford Persuasive Tech Lab & Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
Come learn what's really working to change behavior and improve the health of everyday people using mobile technologies. What is special about Mobile Health at Stanford? Our conferences have a precise and practical focus. We highlight how today's mobile technology can improve the health of everyday people. The emphasis is on what's working to change behavior, right now. Our speakers will not waste your time talking about unproven solutions that are "just around the corner." And our speakers will not give sales pitches. (Too many events make these mistakes. We don't.) Our conferences are single-track. That means everyone gets to hear all the speakers. This improves the conversations during breaks and each panel Q&A. On top of that, each talk is short. This time constraint causes speakers to get to the point quickly.
With Mobile Health 2011, we build on the success of our three previous events at Stanford: Mobile Health 2010, Texting4Health, and Mobile Persuasion. These were high-quality learning experiences. These events also led to new partnerships, research, and innovations.
