With his announcement this week that he intends to run for president in Egypt, Nobel Laureate Mohamed ElBaradei has cancelled his World Affairs Council of Oregon engagement on Monday, April 4 at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. Replacing ElBaradei in the four-part International Speaker Series will be two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times columnist Nicholas D. Kristof, speaking on “Revolution in the Middle East: What Next?,” on Monday, June 13.
