When asked about their estimate of the number of mobile developers active in the Timisoara area, 4 or 5 geeks working in the field answered "something in the range of 10-15". A more detailed, web-based research proved that at least 35 people are involved in this domain, of course at different levels, starting from owning specialized small companies, working as freelance mobile developers, having own side mobile projects or just ...being actively involved mobile development on-line communities.

Probably a more extended search for Timisoara specialists interested or already involved in mobile development will easily bring the count significantly above the 50 mark. So there is a community building opportunity here!

We are inviting you to join from this early stages the Timisoara Mobile Software and contribute to defining groups aims, structure, modus operandi, etc. and benefit of meeting like-minded people, learning about their current projects, obtaining and offering feedback on technology and business issues, enter new partnership and create a vibrant community of mobile developers in Timisoara and in the region.

This initial meetup will test the interest within the community, discuss the principles we would like to govern group's functioning, extract the themes of most interest for the next group's events.

The evening will start with a keynote speach by dr. Valentin Muresan, director of Movidius Development Center in Timisoara on current trends in the evolution of mobile hardware that will influence soon the playground of mobile software developers.
