Let's have a regular outing for the tech community in NYC that meets once a month. The goal being that people who are coders, designers, sys admins, etc would have a chance to come out, share stories about what's bugging you this week, or not.

The spirit of this event is to come out and have a good time, not to whip out your laptop and share your codez with everyone you meet (I'm sure it's awesome though).

**EVENT IS ON...heaviest snow not due until midnight Tues**

This is for people looking for a different experience from work and cookie-cutter tech meetups.

But in general, this would just be a great way for people with similar interests to get to know one another, by no means should this be restricted to talking shop.


The marketing, sales, and other departments seem to have way more of these than the tech guys an gals. So let's get something going of our own!

Now that the holiday party madness has ended, it's time for a new excuse to get together and have a lot to drink.

If you're interested and are in the tech scene in the NYC area go ahead and rsvp. Please spread the word. Depending on the numbers, there will be a meetup group created and we can get an ongoing event rolling.

Peculiar Pub has lots of good beer, but they are cash only, be prepared!
