Since last year's 25th Birthday went so swimmingly I'm calling for a do-over.

In keeping with the spirit of FossettFest (I realize this reference is lost on many of you who don't know the great Amy Fossett Heaton, who hosted a weeks worth of birthday festivities every January), I will be celebrating my birthday on not ONE but TWO nights this year. It only seems fitting since I didn't actually get to celebrate my birthday last year at all. Plus it gives me an excuse to find 2 birthday ensembles.

So here is how it is going to go:

Friday Night
January 21, 2011 (the eve of my birth)
Dinner 7pm
Sette Osteria

Join me for some la cucina italiana é vino. We all know that my Italian blood runs deep and it is, of course, my very favorite kind of food, so we will be dining here. This place has a nice rustic feel to it, as rustic as you can get in DC. I'm planning dinner a bit early so that those who have made other plans for the rest of the evening can get to those engagements in a relatively timely manner.

When you RSVP to this event please indicate whether you will be joining for dinner as I plan to make reservations and need a head count

I'm calling it an early night...ish so that I will get plenty of shut-eye for Saturdays festivities.

Join me for an evening of dancing at, what I have been told is, the premiere dance club in DC (the photos look pretty swanky). Bottle/Table service was going to be way too expensive so now we are just heading there for some good old fashioned dancing.
