On Friday, March 11, two of California’s most respected street MCs, Kurupt Youngotti and Daz Dillinger aka Tha Dogg Pound return to the Rockit Room. Last June, Daz and Kurupt shredded 16s and launched into an endless barrage of radio hits and Cali street anthems, barely taking or giving the crowd a moment to catch their breath. On the heals of this brilliant performance, Tha Dogg Pound returns with the bar set high to expectations of another powerhouse stage show.
With dozens of albums between them, years of collaboration with Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Tupac Shakur and a vast crew of west coast affiliates, the duo comes prepared to set off a party. One can expect the veteran pair to hammer hungry fans with a gang of hits including “Let’s Play House,” “What Would You Do?” “New York, New York,” “Big Pimpin,” “We Can Freak It,” “Girls All Pause,” "Who Ride Wit Us," and many more.
Local promoter, uber-versatile DJ and recent food channel celebrity as the personality behind and co-owner of Papalote Mexican grill, DJ Mr.E handles the party rockin duties before and after. Opening acts are TBA.
