In 2007 a freshmen boy entered his first day at high school wearing a pink shirt and was ridiculed and bullied, being called gay for wearing a pink t-shirt. Two seniors overheard and arranged for students to wear pink shirts the next day. They had originally expected only dozens of people to attend, but they managed to rally hundreds of students to show up in pink attire.
