Hi there,
I hope you that all of you had some relaxing holidays and a good start
to the new year.
After a relaxing pause in december it's that time of the month again
where the JavaScript geeks in Berlin meet to listen to talks and
discuss all things related to JavaScript. And to have some beer
together, of course.
We have two talks this time:
* After delaying his talk even a third time due to timing issue we'll
finally have Max Winde [1] on stage, talking about his iOS Drag single
touch plugin for jQuery [2].
* If you have to name one hype around JavaScript during the last few
months, it will be Node.js. Each and everyone is talking about it, but
how are things going on production side? Felix Geisendörfer [3],
contributor to node itself, runs it in production since nearly a year
at Transload.it [4]. He's talking about "Node.js in production" and
will give some insight on his experiences and things you should know
if you plan to use Node on a business project.
As usual there is enough room for discussion, so don't be shy,
participate and have fun.
The location is the co.up coworking space [5], we're starting on 20th
January around 7pm / 19:00 o'clock. There are drinks available for a
small fee.
I hope to see all of you again,
- Robin
