Dear World,
It’s almost been a quarter of a century and my goodness what an experience it has been. We live day to day creating hopes and dreams so that we may gift ourselves with a purpose to pull us through. At the end of the day—in the back of our minds—we are ultimately alone. The emptiness we attempt to fight remains present despite busy thoughts and diversions we implement. That emptiness is the very reason that we execute thoughts and actions to contrast the grim reality. Via friends, relations, goals, etc., humanity’s method to survival relies heavily on mental well-being; because let’s face it, as sad as it may be our species is the only one who ever thinks of suicide.
And so, though slightly over-elaborately explained, it is for this very reason that I have decided to celebrate my birthday. Morbid and depressing may be my thought process, but fun is the ultimate result. Despite my previous plan to flee the metropolis and nest in the isolation of a state park, I have concluded that I want to celebrate my 24th birthday with the presence of everyone who has been a part of my life. Given that I haven’t had much time to spend with many people since returning to the city, what better way to sum it up than in one massive gathering so that I may say “Thank you” only once instead of running my mouth dry as I do on my online postings such as this one.

At some point after I wake up, directly relating to my rate of alcohol consumption Friday evening, I will be hiking through the magnificence of Fort Funston. Everyone one who is not afraid or deathly allergic of large dogs, or any dogs for that matter (sorry, Erv), is welcomed to join. I will probably have a set time as the day draws near.

11:30 - BAR HOPPING
For those of you who complain about me driving all the time when we go out to play in the city, this is the evening in which I will renounce my chauffeuring habit and resort to a cab or public transportation. I'm ascertained at some point in the evening that I will be attending the Dueling Pianos show at Johnny Foleys (Free, unless you want them to change the song):
