MeiMei Fox is an Ana Forrest-certified yoga teacher. Her vinyasa flow style classes are suitable for beginners with up-leveling for more advanced... practitioners. She has been teaching for over two years at Aha Yoga in San Francisco, and practicing for nearly a decade with masters such as Rusty Wells, Janet Stone, Shiva Rea, Bryan Kest, and Stephanie Snyder.

Surf for Life is a non-profit organization founded by surfers, dedicated to connecting travelers with community service opportunities in coastal areas. They are building the first high school in Puerto Viejo to provide advanced education to young people in the surrounding areas.

Payment works according to a Team-in-Training model: You raise $1850, which covers your food, lodging, transport, and yoga while in Costa Rica. If you raise additional funds, this goes to cover your airfare. All staff—including MeiMei and the Surf for Lifers—are volunteers. Almost all the money you raise goes directly into efforts on the ground in Puerto Viejo. We can assist you with fundraising.
