This month, Solvate Talent Martha Denton, a Presentation Designer and Strategist (and McKinsey alum), eases our powerpoint woes in the first of a two part class on presentation design.
In the first class, you’ll learn how to plan out your story, determine your audience, and select the right charts for your messages (both data and conceptual). In the second class next month, you’ll learn how to make those charts beautiful with an overview of basic graphic design for presentations.
Each presentation in this two-part series will last approximately 45 minutes.
About the Speaker:
Martha Denton is a visual communications and presentation designer and strategist with over 8 years experience working with Fortune 500 companies, major non-profits, NGOs and governments. She also has experience facilitating (meetings and for design thinking), MBTI testing, and general communications strategy. Martha worked at McKinsey & Company for 11 years and has a bachelors from the University of Maryland and a design certificate from Parsons. In her spare time, she loves to look at awesome information graphics, volunteer, listen to music, and cook.
