Photo artist and teacher Carrie Cooper will show you techniques, including stop motion and motion blur, aimed at activating your photographs to reflect a Millennium Park on the go. ABOUT YOUR TEACHER AND HOSTS
Carrie Cooper (workshop teacher) is a photographic artist and teacher who examines the abstract and relatable nature of human experience, emotion and behavior. She has taught photography to youth and adults at Herron School of Art's Saturday School visual arts education program (in Indianapolis) and to undergraduates at the University of New Mexico. Her work has been exhibited locally and in New Mexico. Carrie currently teaches introduction and special topics in photography at Hyde Park Art Center and curates shows of emerging Chicago artists at the Star Lounge Coffee Bar in Ukrainian Village.
