The weekend is designed to bring together friends old and new , to explore Stratford Upon Avon and its surrounds.

The organisers of the event are Steven Healey , Freddy Daems (Mechelen , Belgium) , Andreas Wiedow (Frankfurt , Germany) and Mike 'Freddie' Gordon all of whom helped found the original Optimism Club

You can take part in any of the pre-planned events , or simply select events from the program.

There is no charge for joining the event , however you will pay the standard dining and entry charges at venues visited .

We optimistically look forward to meeting up again , exploring , wining and dining in wonderful Warwickshire
