CHARLES FOX, will attend the Q&A following the screening.100 Voices: A Journey Home is a documentary based on the largest group of Cantors to ever return to Poland paying homage to the Cantorial tradition.
Featuring the personal reflections and musical performances of some of the world’s finest Jewish cantors and showcasing the talents of acclaimed composer Charles Fox (“Killing Me Softly,” “I Got a Name,” “Ready to Take a Chance Again”), 100 Voices: A Journey Home demonstrates the positive power of music, its ability to heal hearts and to connect people. This in-theater fund raising event from THE LOS ANGELES JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL features a Q&A panel with Cantor Nathan Lam of Los Angeles’ Stephen S. Wise Temple, David Suissa (Jewish Journal columnist) and the film's directors in attendance.
All proceeds will benefit the LA JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL for it's official run in May 2011. Tickets only $12.00 each at the www.lajfilmfest.org home page now.
