The Michigan State University New Media Drivers License ® Course will host a Digital Marketing “Tweetup” on Monday, Feb. 7 from 5:30 - 6:30 at Bubble Island on Grand River Ave. in downtown East Lansing.


The Tweetup will be a great opportunity for you to come join other aspiring digital professionals, as well as current professionals and share ideas. The host of the event will be Derek Mehraban, instructor of the New Media class and CEO of Ingenex Digital Marketing.

The Tweetup will take place immediately before the Annual Career Seminar at the MSU Union, where several Advertising and Marketing agencies, including Ingenex, will have booths set up. The Seminar is put on by the MSU Advertising Association each year and hopes to provide students with insight on the advertising field, career opportunities, and tips on what to do during school and after graduation. Most importantly, students use this event to build relations with employers to better pursue a career.

So if you are an Advertising or Marketing student, this is a great opportunity to learn about Digital Marketing and the job landscape from the professionals that work in those fields. Come out to Bubble Island on Monday, February 7th from 5:30 - 6:30, after which the whole Tweetup will walk over to the MSU Union and career fair together.
