ABOUT TREY ANASTASIO:
This will be Trey Anastasio's first tour with full acoustic and electric sets since 1999, when he launched his first full solo run. For the acoustic set, he'll draw on material written over the course of his entire career. The electric set will feature the return of the septet incarnation of the Trey Anastasio Band that debuted on his 2010 winter tour, comprising Russ Lawton (drums), Tony Markellis (bass), Ray Paczkowski (keyboards), Russell Remington (tenor saxophone and flute), Jennifer Hartswick (trumpet and vocals) and Natalie Cressman (trombone and vocals).
Anastasio is a founding member of the GRAMMY-nominated, genre-melding rock band Phish, which has released 15 studio albums, 77 complete live concert CDs and a series of 201 full concert downloads. He has also released eight solo albums, which draw inspiration from experimental jazz, pop, reggae, metal, classical and barbershop music. The Trey Anastasio Band has backed the singer/guitarist on much of his solo work and also serves as a breeding ground of sorts, with many of its songs eventually crossing over into Phish's repertoire.
