The conference is the primary Internet-related event in Sweden, and has been held annually since 2000. It is organized by .SE, the registry for the Swedish top-level domain, with support from a number of local public agencies and trade organizations. The purpose of the conference is to provide an arena where researchers, technologists, media and public sector can meet to discuss Internet-related issues.
Last year Internetdagarna had over 1100 visitors, exhibitors and speakers attending the conference. This year the conference will feature 30+ sessions in two days, spread over several parallel tracks, and we expect a similar number of attendees as last year. Internetdagarna covers a broad range of Internet-related topics, from networking technology to the Internet's effects on society.
