Wherever you are in the world on February13, 2011, at 8:00 pm EST (0100 GMT) you can attend a premier art event right in your own home. This event is not weather dependent, not subject to travel restrictions, you can wear whatever you want (or not), and eat, drink, or smoke at will. Online refreshments will also be served.

This year abstract artist Peter Smolenski is showing new work with an amazing group of guest artists.

Smolenski's featured guest artists for this year include abstract artist Bishara Sabbagh, of Germany, and painter Frank Racina of New Jersey, US. Each artist will show 20 or more new incredible works.

The show will also feature collaborative works by Smolenski with other artists including a series of 45 digital manipulations of light photographs taken by Pete Rogina, a talented artist, musician and 3D expert also from New Jersey, US.

Another series on tap is with Smolenski's longtime musical collaborator Will Cluster and involves 50 untouched photos of a light phenomenon set to really strange but appropriate music also created by the two.

An additional collaboration involves 3 paintings jointly worked on by Smolenski and Shawn Mcmanus, an extremely talented and published artist well known for, among other things, his comic book artwork.

Smolenski will show new digital works including photography. In total, the show will allow you to experience over 175 pieces that Smolenski either did himself or worked on collaboratively with others.

This wonderful event will also feature special musical guest Jim Armenti (The Lonesome Brothers, etc) and the online release of his new solo cd tHE hERD. The album will also be available for purchase the night of the show. This is so good....

Video poetry will be provided by Paul Richmond and Tommy Twilite and Rich Ferguson. Be ready for some really great stuff to see and hear and think about.

Sign in for free on the website "show" page (just click on "Join this site" above) to receive updates directly via email and to chat with the artists, poets and musicians on the opening night of the show. This will also make you eligible for giveaways on opening night. Maybe you could win some art, a cd, or some poetry books.

There will be fun stuff like an art contest where you can manipulate one of Smolenski's paintings.

This year promises to be the biggest online art event yet. With almost 4,000 art enthusiasts in attendance last year this year is shaping up to be the biggest event ever with nearly 20,000 site hits since September, 2010.
