140conf events have provided a unique platform for the worldwide social media community to: listen, connect, share and engage with each other, while collectively exploring the effects of the emerging real-time internet and social media on business.
Co-created by Jeff Pulver of the 140Conf and Lilly Berelovich of Fashion Snoops, Fashion140 sets the focus on the fashion industry; it is a brave collaborative inquiry into how twitter, Facebook and other forms of social media and mobile technologies are reshaping the fashion industry, now!.
Our hope is to attract diverse worldwide passionate people who will gather in New York City to connect with one another. Our carefully-selected speakers will each have 10 minute slots to share their first-hand accounts of how emerging real-time Internet has impacted their business – creating together a unique global perspective of the fashion industry and its future.
Fashion140 is not an event about micro blogging or about sharing Twitter “tips and techniques”, but rather it is the place where we explore the effects of the real-time Internet on business in general and more closely in the fashion industry.
