==========================================
Earlier this year, Facebook made a change to its News Feed setting that, for many of us (not all), is defaulted to show ONLY posts from people who you’ve recently interacted with. So, unless you interact with your friends and fan pages regularly, you both may not be seeing each others posts. Even in the "Most Recent" tab.
HERE IS THE FIX: On the Home page of Facebook, click "Most Recent" to the right of your News Feed header (if not already selected). Click the "down arrow" next to Most Recent and select “Edit Options”. In the popup window, click “Show Posts From” and change the setting to “All Of Your Friends and Pages” (if yours was already set to this, then your account was not affected by the recent change). Save the setting and your News Feed should reload with many more posts than before.
PLEASE INVITE YOUR FRIENDS TO THIS EVENT TO SHARE THIS INFO - WALL POSTING WON"T WORK IF THEY CANNOT SEE YOUR POSTS
Even if you are fine with Facebook hiding posts from your feed, with this setting, many of your friends may not be seeing your posts.
NOTE: Fan page owners, it is best to spread the word to your fans so they can see your posts.

REPETITIVE COMMENTS AND RESPONSES IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER
1 - I don't get it.
See those squiggly lines above? Those are words! If you read them, you will find out.
2 - I still don't get it.
Short version: Facebook change. Facebook hide posts. Facebook bad. You fix settings. Facebook good again.
3 - This is just Facebook...who cares?
If you don't care, then why are you here? Maybe "you" don't care but others might. Obviously you cared enough to log on, click this event link, read a little info and make your comment.
4 - Why would I want to be annoyed by stupid posts from stupid people?
Why do have "stupid people" in your friend list if they annoy you? Even so, with these setting you may also miss updates from fan pages you "liked" and friends/family who rarely post except when they have something important to share. Once changed, if someone is annoying you, you can always delete them or just block their feeds. The main point is some of us prefer to make our own decision on what we see or not and not have a programmed algorithm decide for us. It's your choice.
5 - This is not new...pay more attention idiots!
Don't be an idiot. First, this information has been floating around since the beginning of the year 2011 when this change was new. Second, there was a time when we all were novices trying to figure things out. This may not be news to you but it may be news to someone else.
6 - I'm there babe!
Um, this is not an event. There are words on this page. Take a quick moment to read them...or if you always agree to things without reading, I may have something for you to sign.
7 - If my friends have something important to say, they can use the phone.
Suggesting antiquated forms of communication on a social network platform is seriously full of lol. The information shared here is help those that utilize social media to enhance their lives. If you have the time to contact everyone you know when you have something to share, that is pretty awesome. Have fun!
8 - If I want to know what my friends or fan pages are doing, I can visit their page.
You are only thinking of your personal Facebook situation. Some of us have hundreds or thousands of "friends" and the newsfeed is the most convenient source for receiving their updates. If you have spare time to visit all your friends, that's pretty awesome for you. I don't.
9 - Stop sending me event invites!
I most likely did not send the invite to you so you shouldn't post this on the wall for everyone else to read and make fun of you. The next time you receive an invite from someone, click "remove event" on the bottom and check "block sender from sending future invites". Done.
