Date: Wednesday 2nd March
12.10 pm
Clive will leave our home 15 Toll Bar Way Tadcaster LS24 8JT for the last time.
It is a cul-de-sac so if you would like to follow us I suggest you park on York Road or Turnpike Road.
We will drive through Tadcaster past all his favourite places including the Coach and Horses and The Queen. Please come out and say hello - he'd be pleased!
1 pm
Celebration to be held at Leeds Headingley Stadium, home of his beloved Leeds Rhinos Rugby league.

If you consider yourself to be amongst close family and friends please park in the relevant signed area so we can leave promptly for the crematorium later. Otherwise use the stadium car parks or neighbouring streets.
Clive will be carried onto the pitch by some Leeds players and relatives in front of the North stand, where we had a season ticket for every home game.
If you would like to form a guard of honour, e.g. with golf clubs, cycles, etc. to represent the many aspects of his life please let me know.
We shall be listening to music he requested and to people speaking about him. If you wish to say a few words please let me know ASAP and we will compile a running order.
After 52 minutes (one for each year of his life) Clive will make his final journey to Rawdon Crematorium LS19 6JP. For 2.20 pm. I would like this to be a more intimate occasion for close family and friends please. You know who you are.
Meanwhile everyone is invited to one of the Headingley Stadium Function Suites (directions will be given) for a Clive Gott roadshow! He always wanted to do a one man show so here it is! He wanted people to have a few beers, watch a match (we'll have one on the screens) and celebrate his life. Of course we shall return from the crematorium.
Ideas I have include:
Photographs - if you have any you would like to share please send to me for inclusion on a show reel.
Testimonials/ Memories - if you'd like to bring one with you we can put them together in a file. Paper copies or something on a disc/memory stick. These will go on his website for ever more.
Register of attendance.
Clive's presentations - on laptops around the room (anyone willing to lend us some for the day?)
If there are others who would like to say any tributes which we didn't have time for outside perhaps we can do this in here? Video pod, anyone?
Would anyone be willing to film proceedings as those who cannot attend would like to see them?
Music - will all be from Clive's iPod!
Products - I have been asked if his books, DVD's could be for sale on the day so due to this request - yes they will.
I am open to any other suggestions or offers of help.
I guess we shall be there until we get bored! So please pop in throughout the afternoon and celebrate his life with me and his family.
Flowers:
only to buy for yourself from Clive or give to someone else in his name.
Donations:
only on Saturday Clive told me how he loved to sponsor young sports players with equipment or coaching to help them achieve their goals. I have decided to set up a charity in his memory to do that - The Clive Gott Fellowship.
Dress:
Clive left instructions that, "You must only wear black if you look really hot in it!" So - colour please.
Contact me at elaine@clivegott.com with the subject 'Celebration' for any of the above.
