You know that sinking feeling the week after SXSW, the disappointment that sets in when the music stops and the city becomes suddenly silent? Well, we're here to help! Announcing the music event to be at the week after South By: The SX HANGOVER SHOW featuring some of the best bands the state of Texas has to offer!
The SX HANGOVER SHOW
Saturday, March 26th
w/
Green River Ordinance
Courrier
Suite 709
The Soldier Thread
The 71s
Green River Ordinance has toured with the likes of OneRepublic, Goo Goo Dolls, Bon Jovi, and Switchfoot, but in just a few weeks, the guys from GRO will be taking a special break from their time in the studio to play with some of Austin's best bands!
As one of Austin's most impressive up-and-coming acts, Courrier recently released their debut record, A Violent Flame, and is playing their first show since their sold-out CD release at The Parish in January! Courrier will also be giving away a copy of their debut album with an advanced ticket purchase OR advance DO512 RSVP.
Suite 709 has gained a reputation for a great live show, almost as quickly as they've gained a devout following in Austin - and they haven't even released their debut album yet! Be sure to check out this energetic new band, and see what everyone is talking about.
The Soldier Thread has taken the Austin music scene by storm with their violin-infused pop-rock and impressive live performances. If you haven't seen TST play yet, you have been missing out.
Opening the evening will be Houston rockers, The 71s. Named “Best New Band in Houston” (2009) by Houston’s Alternative FM Station (94.5 The Buzz FM), they are a band not to miss!
The Parish is the place to be on for this special occasion on Saturday, 3/26. Tickets will be $12 at the door, but here are a few deals for those who buy in advance:
Advance Ticket Purchase: $10 + Courrier CD
DO512 RSVP: $10 + Courrier CD
