On Thursday, March 24th, 2011, people in hundreds of cities around the world will come together offline to support local nonprofits by hosting events organized through social media. Twestival demonstrates the power of social entrepreneurship – bringing individuals together to organize events in cities worldwide.

The NYC Twestival committee will raise funds for and awareness of iMentor’s vitally important work in New York, connecting professional mentors with mentees from low-income neighborhoods. The NYC Twestival is an entirely volunteer-organized event and 100% of all ticket sales and donations will go directly to support the efforts of iMentor.
