今回は「生活基盤としてのソーシャルメディアの未来」とテーマとし、このたびの東北関東大震災において重要な情報伝達手段として利用されたTwitter や関連サービスを中心に、多くの人々の生活に欠かせない存在になったソーシャルメディアの今後について議論を深めたいと考えています。

The New Context Conference 2011 Spring will be held on April 16 in Tokyo.

Social media played an important role in the spread of information in the　current Tohoku Kantou Earthquake. Twitter and other services empowered the　voice of the individual, hinting at a paradigm shift in media. The NCC this　year will focus on "The impact of social media."

The conference will be held online via UStream and Twitter.

We will have room for 200 face to face participants.
