Our fabulous Fairmount family fiesta and carnival brings together the whole community--the entire neighborhood is invited to enjoy the fun!
This year, FiestaVal’s Latin American feast is created by celebrated food writer, chef and cookbook author Tara Duggan, along with professional pastry chef Jenna Meyer. For the kids, FiestaVal offers a host of rides and carnival games and activities, including pony rides, petting zoo, jumpy houses, circus clowns, face-painting, butterfly tent, arcade games and prizes, and the YMCA Bike Rodeo. Get ready to bid on wonderful classroom art projects and a special outing to a Giants game hosted by Principal Hilinski at our live auction! Live bands Peein' in the Dark and Gen 11 will be playing. The program also includes Ballet Folklorico by our Fifth graders and a performance by the Fabulous Fairmount Falcon Choir. The show ends with a capoeira display by ABADA-Capoeira SF teachers.
