Shanghai 1930's very own Eric Fura was kind enough to set up a Macallan Scotch tasting for the Guanxi Lounge Alumni to participate in. Macallan will be giving out free samples of the Macallan 12yr and Macallan 15yr Scotch whiskies, and has the Macallan 17yr, 18yr, and 21yr scotches available for a nominal price. There will also be special pricing on full glasses of Macallan all night.

This will be our first trip out to Swank Cocktail Club, where Eric currently works, and is a trendy upscale place to hang out and enjoy great cocktails and great company. Swank has an outdoor patio where we can smoke cigars (I wouldn't go there if it didn't). The club does not sell cigars so make sure you bring your own. If anyone is interested in a dinner plan, please mesage me directly and I'll make a reservation if there is enough interest.
Since this event is at a new venue in the city, I've decided to experiment and keep this event public (for now at least). I'm also inviting the members of a new club in the City called Wingtip (which I am a member of). There are several ex-Guanxi members in the Wingtip membership pool, and several of the group are cigar smokers/ whisky drinkers. Please feel free to invite as many guests as you'd like -- the more the merrier.
Wingtip members/ non-Guanxi guests: Please feel free to join us for the Macallan tasting. Please RSVP on this Facebook page so I have a rough idea of how many people are going to show up -- you are more than welcome to bring as many guests as you'd like. Unlike the club itself, there are no guest limitations at GXI events!!
