This year's global Twestival is going local.
For this third annual event, people around the world will again harness the power of Twitter and social media to bring people together and raise funds for a good cause. But instead of sending funds to an international outfit, Twestival 2011 will benefit a charity in each city.
Funds raised at Honolulu Twestival 2011 will support the lifesaving work of the Blood Bank of Hawaii (BBH)!
BBH is a non-profit organization that provides blood to civilian hospitals throughout the state and has been serving Hawaii’s patients since 1941. Donors are needed every day. BBH will leverage the visibility and funds raised by Honolulu Twestival to develop digital media and social media programs and tools to reach the next generation of blood donors.
The event will feature live music, great food and drink, fun giveaways and prizes, and a fantastic opportunity to have a good time with good people, for a good cause.
GET YOUR TICKETS TODAY!
Funds are raised primarily through ticket sales, and 100 percent of ticket sales go to charity. Though we'd love for you to RSVP here on Facebook and help spread the word to your friends and networks, you'll need to buy a ticket to get in!
