Join us at the Science Club in downtown Washington, DC to celebrate the golden anniversary of human spaceflight! Enjoy happy hour specials from 8pm until closing (with no cover charge!), mingle with your fellow space enthusiasts and discuss the past, present, and future of human spaceflight, rock out to a live DJ, and maybe enjoy a few surprise guests. Just have a grand time! This is a night to celebrate some of the very best that humanity has to offer.
Space-themed Trivia begins at 9 p.m...with prizes from Think Geek and NASA SDO!
We're also having a LEGO building contest beginning at 10 p.m. Grab a handful of LEGOs (provided), and try and build the closest approximation of a real-world spacecraft that you can. Prizes from Think Geek!
Science Club is accessible by the Red Line (at Farragut North), and the Orange Line (at Farragut West). But remember, the Metro closes at midnight, and don't count on any working escalators, so plan ahead!
