Journey to a land beyond reality, with unlimited possibilities...
The 12th annual How Weird Street Faire
Sunday May 1, 2011 - Noon to 8pm
Centered at Howard and 2nd Streets, San Francisco, Earth
http://www.HowWeird.org
INVITE YOUR FRIENDS! --- PLAN YOUR COSTUME!
Nine city blocks filled with art and performances, vendors from around the world, tasty food and drinks, and all the colorful weirdness that San Francisco is famous for. All ages are welcome, and costumes are highly encouraged.
There is a requested donation of $10 for the How Weird Street Faire. The full donation buys a Magic Sticker that is potentially worth many times that amount, with discounts at the faire bars and after parties, as well as specials at many of the vendors.
Journey to the "Mythical Realms" of Howard Street and celebrate peace, creativity, and the start of the summer season!
There will be nine stages of world-class electronic music, including Live Electronica, Dubstep, Electro, Breaks, House, Techno, Psytrance, Drum & Bass, and World Beat.
THE MUSICAL REALMS OF THE HOW WEIRD STREET FAIRE:
EDEN - by Groove Garden, Hookahdome, Non Stop Bhangra
NIBIRU - by Symbiosis

Dancing knows no boundaries or political affiliation. Music, more than any other form of communication, is able to transcend differences between people. It is through music and art that peace is always possible.
The main entrance is at Howard and New Montgomery Streets, where you’ll find complimentary bike parking. It is only two blocks from the Montgomery BART station on Market Street, and near many MUNI lines, the Transbay Terminal, and Caltrain Station.
Introducing "Art Alley" on Minna Street off of 2nd Street. An art gallery in the middle of the street, featuring works by local artists and posters from all the previous faires. There will be live painting and art activities.

HOW WEIRD @ NIGHT - 8pm to 2am
so weird it had to move indoors.
How Weird @ Night is our main fundraiser for the faire to help keep it going, and a continuation of the How Weird experience!
The fun doesn’t stop when the faire ends, it just moves indoors to three very beautiful locations right at the faire site: Temple Nightclub, 111 Minna Gallery, and Harlot. We encourage you to visit all three.
TEMPLE is located between Eden and Shangri La.
HARLOT is down Opel Alley past Middle Earth.
111 MINNA is between Vulcan and Shambhala.
Get a ticket at any location for only $10, or $2 off with the Magic Sticker. The ticket is good for all three venues. Magic Stickers are only available at the gates during the faire. There will be ins and outs at all three clubs throughout the evening. The after parties are all 21 and over with ID.
