Presenter Bio:
Michael Jenkins-Brown is a Senior Software Engineer with Raytheon's Space and Airborne Systems division in El Segundo, CA. In addition to managing engineering software and running small businesses, Michael combines his technical background and his passion for journalism as a professional blogger. He has been writing for his own website South Bay Foodies since 2008, covering food and beverage news around Los Angeles.
He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Los Angeles Chapter of Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA). Through both organizations, he actively mentors high school students to introduce them to the limitless possibilities of a career based on science, technology, engineering, or math.
