Disney's Wine & Dine Half Marathon + After Party

Creating another event for Wine & Dine this year because last year was just so much fun. :D

Come run 13.1 miles with Disney's Wine & Dine Half Marathon or spectate us runners who are doing it while eating and drinking at Epcot's Food & Wine Festival!

Some changes Disney's doing this year:
-- Rides are going to be open! Currently the stuff I know that'll be open is Future World for Soarin', The Seas for Finding Nemo & Friends, and the Norway Pavillion for Maelstrom
-- Finish line for runners will have a finish line beer garden

I think after party tickets are probably going to be the same as last year's ($40, with 1 free drink and 1 free meal).

I'll update everyone more info as I learn more things and as the date approaches.

Update - 3/23/2011

Learned the following information from the WDW Today podcast where they interviewed a representative from runDisney about Wine & Dine.

1. There will be no capacity for the after party
2. Regular dining locations for each country will be open this time. So, instead of just 27 kiosks for food, there will be 47.
3. Future World will be open in addition to World Showcase. (Last year it was just World Showcase)
4. The course for the half marathon will be similar to last year's, except the finish line will be at the Epcot entrance.
5. Transportation will be better for people doing the relay where runner #1 will be at/near the finish for #2.
6. The 5K is being moved from Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom, and will have a similar course to Expedition Everest.
