StartMate Valley Night - Is an invitation-only event bringing together top Australian entrepreneurs with Silicon Valley's top startups, investors, journalists and service providers. The goal of StartMate Valley Night is to impart "real" knowledge around business practices in Silicon Valley.
Why you should come if you are from "The Valley": It's kind of like being nice to the exchange students that came to your high school or college, or a way to pay back the people who helped you if you ever studied abroad. You'll also learn about how to tap into foreign startups and help them succeed in the valley.
Why you should come if you are Australian: Well, if you're here and have had to go through that first year of living in America and doing business here, then you have information and knowledge that you can impart.
