It's Election Day! It's your country and democracy is nothing if citizens don't participate! Educate yourself on the basic platforms of each party and the validity of each leader's association to said platform - then Vote and have a say in your country. Politicians are NOT all the same, especially when they see how much people actually care about who runs the government and how. My motivation for creating the event is based off the event in the Middle East. We take this democracy for granted when we complain about our government but do nothing about it. Low voter rates are an excuse for politicians to ignore the people in favour of special interest groups and corporate lobbies. Millions of people are fighting for this basic right as we speak, so take 20 minutes out of your day on May 2nd and make a difference!
