What happens when you put a diverse group of journalists together for a year (and pay them) free to explore and test their ideas for innovation and entrepreneurship in journalism? Hacks/Hackers and the Knight Fellowships at Stanford are hosting a demo night to show off 2011 Knight Fellows' concepts and prototypes, including:

Hacks/Hackers and the Knight Fellowships at Stanford are hosting a demo night to show off 2011 Knight Fellows' concepts and prototypes, including:
--Augmented reality news experiences
--Mobile news tip and verification systems
-- Hosh, a platform to empower and engage Pakistan's youth in crowd sourced reporting online, with content syndicated to Pakistan's leading media outlets.
--Crowd-sourcing a documentary, 18daysinEgypt.
--CrowdTrust, a web-based service to help small newsrooms and independent reporters produce crowd-sourced investigations. And more....
Demos/presentations will be five minutes each, followed by five minutes of questions/feedback from the audience.
