Jellies are occasional meetings at which a small group of people come together to collaborate in an informal atmosphere. Unlike coworking spaces, no membership is required, they cost nothing and take place in a variety of locations. They offer the opportunity to exchange ideas, with no commitments or costs. And at the same time, they allow a community to build that can eventually lead to the development of an institution like a coworking space.

THE WORLDWIDE JELLYWEEK HAS FOUR AIMS.
1. INVENTORY AND BROADENING OF A GLOBAL COWORKING COMMUNITY. Which coworking communities are already existing in each continent? How can we involve new people, networks and regions into the coworking movement? How can we foster new initiatives in regions without existing coworking communities and spaces?
2. STARTING TO DEFINE A COMMON GOAL AS A GLOBAL COMMUNITY. Why should we do global coworking? For which local and global problems coworking and coworkers could find concrete solutions? Which technical, organizational, social and cultural prototypes for global collaboration can we create for the time after the #JELLYWEEK? Which next steps can we imagine and want to implement for a global community building beyond the #JELLYWEEK?
3. STARTING TO FOSTER THE RELATIONSHIPS WITHIN A GLOBAL COMMUNITY AND STRENGTHENING THE CORE OF COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIPS LIKE COMMUNICATION, RECIPROCITY, DEPENDENCE AND TRUST. Which quality of relationships do we want to establish globally? And how can we live
them?
4. STARTING TO ACT TOGETHER (= TO COOPERATE) TO REACH THE COMMON GOALS. How can we concretely organize and coordinate acting globally together? How can we communicate and exchange on a global level? How can we create partnerships, mentorships and visiting exchanges? How can coworkers use the global coworking infrastructure to foster their businesses and projects?
