Cross-Border Investments: Gaining Ground
The 4th AAAIM AAMA Event
While the U.S. struggles to restore sustainable growth, Asian countries in general are experiencing the go-go years of over 8% annual GDP growth. Investment managers in all major asset classes, in particular Asian Americans, have been capitalizing on cross-border opportunities by bridging capital, expertise, deal access and on-the-ground connections. This is especially true in the large powerhouse economies of India and China. What are some of the latest trends and experiences from the frontlines? Please join our panel of experts for a lively evening discussion on:
The growth of cross-border deals enabled by capital flows from the U.S. to Asia and vice versa;
How the global financial crisis has affected risk appetite, volume of deals and types of deals; and
Thoughts on opportunities in the next 3 to 5 years.
